I have a RX-A750 setup with a pair of speakers outside. If I select Zone 2 in the Yamaha app, and then select a source, such as Net Radio, or streaming music from my phone, it also is changing the Main Zone to the same source. It will not select the input outside only. Party Mode is off, the amp is assigned correctly for 7.1 + Zone 2 or however it is labeled. Is this new with the new model year? Never had this issue before (granted I do not setup Zone 2 all that often, but have done it without this issue).

What happens if you select an external source for zone2, for instance cable box, CD player, streaming media device? Might only do that for internal sources?

Gonna check right now. I had to wait to retest internal sources because Charter is here and had the internet disconnected.

Ok, I went into the web portal and selected under the Input settings "Zone 2" and then in the pull down select Master Zone Sync and then Selected my internal source (which seems to have released whatever was going on)

Now, the external sources are playing outside without interfering with inside, as are internal sources with the exception of playing directly from my phone (Note3)
