Oldest is a 42" zenith plasma EDTV circa 2005. Hanging in the kids playroom in the basement. Still running strong today. Everything else is roughly 1-4 years old.

2007 Pioneer PDP-4270HD.

Haven't had a compelling reason to "upgrade". Maybe if OLED lives up to its promise I will in 3-5 years. Problem is I don't trust any of these new TV's to last more than 3 years total, while I am confident the Pioneer will last at least 5 more year from now.

Some fanatic you are!

I also sold off some old Energy 22 floorstanding speakers, Mission bookshelf speakers, Boston bookshelf speakers, a Nakamichi MB2 Music Bank, a full matching stack of early-80s silver face Harman/Kardon (analog dial tuner receiver, 3-head cassette, and turntable), an NAD stereo receiver with matching NAD 3-head cassette deck, a mid-80s wood cased champagne face Luxman Integrated with matching early digital tuner, and a Denon PMA-2000IV integrated amp and it's matching TU-1500 RDS tuner.

I also purged 1,000+ CDs, 400+ DVDs, 200+ LPs, and a few bookcases of books.

I had some eclectic items over the years, and I seemed bent on purchasing the matching source components for the vintage receivers and amps I have owned.

13" CRT Magnavox still running strong in one of the kids rooms....sits unused as she watches everything on her iPad or phone....carbon dating indicates that it is at least 15 years old.
Jack Rainey - Full disclosure...reformed integrator, now mid-Atlantic manufacturers rep for: Integra, Paradigm, Anthem, Parasound, Atlona, LG TV's and Metra Home Theater...among others

My only TV is a 19" Hitachi, 1985. RF input.
I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's AV trouble, a man alone.
