We installed a couple 32" Samsung J6300 series that responded to ON/OFF CEC via Crestron. Did not test beyond that. $499 retail.

Have used CEC on many jobs without any problems.

Always :/ This is dealing with a TV and JAP. Running cable in this retro is not an option. There are 3 TV's in this setup and 2 are using CEC currently. JAP uses CEC right from the Rx so I'm good with it for now. If this doesn't work out, JAP does have the 232-to-IR converters hitting soon.

As far as we can tell there are no TV's with CEC volume control. It is not even part of the CEC 1.x spec. We are hoping to see TV volume control in the 2.x spec but I'm not holding my breath
