Trying to avoid a new one. Go to a web page and it will randomly go back to the home screen(app icons), open an app and it may never completely start so you have to close and reopen. Touch screen seems slow to respond at times, many times you can not hold finger on screen and get the magnifying bubble or copy option. Memory is far from even half used. Only loaded 7 apps plus all of the unnecessary and non removable apple apps. I do not have any reason to belive some of these failures or slow response is network/service related as all other devices work fine. Has the time bomb gone off? Can't do basic functions anymore cause its time for us to sell you a new one due date reached?

Have you: Turn off ipad - Start iTunes (make sure you have the latest update!) - when ipad is turned off, press homebutton - connect cable between ipad and computer still pressing homebutton - keep press button until itunes tell that it has found a ipad in recovery mode - then follow instuctions on itunes!

If you follow that instruction the ipad will download and reinstall the latest IOS, if that won't help something is wrong and you should go to a service point to get a repair.

With Safari crashing like that it sounds like it's running out of RAM, what model iPad is it? My OG iPad 1 is unusable for Safari due to the crashing.

Ipad 2. I suspect ram too. Google earth looks like a video game and frequently says low on memory

I will give the update method above a try. Seems it has worsened over the last few SW versions.

Too bad Apple won't allow you to downgrade your own device, restoring to ios 6 or 7 would probably give you back some usability. Well, you shouldn't really buy an Apple product if you want it to last more than a year and a half anyway... I learned that lesson back when I was having similar problems with my iphone4 once I upgraded to iOS 5.0.1, I switched to Android and have never looked back. I guess I should actually thank Apple as without that 'gotcha' I might still be struggling with their overpriced junk.

Is it perhaps yes Yoda or.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Or hold down power and home to do a soft reboot. Sometimes fixes odd issues (two this week so far).

Try Chrome or another browser that is lighter?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
