[2954] : A problem occurred while attempting to communicate with the database engine on this computer (while loading preference data). Often restarting will resolve this issue.I got this error starting last week while trying to open RA2 software.Tried a system restore of the windows update that I installed a day before this error occurred, still not working. Anyone else get this or have a solution? Lutron said that they're working on it.

Seems like you should try reinstalling the software.

If Lutron is still working on it... did you ask them if they have a workaround or some other way to handle the problem?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

9.3? Been having some issues seeing processors over the past couple months (HWQS and RA2 since 9.2 I believe) and hoped 9.3 would've helped but no dice. On my company machine with Windows 8.1 and Symantec endpoint protection- I have to toggle enable and disable (Symantec) continuously to update and transfer to repeaters regardless of lan vs wlan connection.
