TCA, what phone system are you referring to? Are you talking about the two line Panasonic consumer multi handset?

Much more information required.

The phone system is the t824. The cordless is the system cordless that works with the t824, not a consumer unit. It can handle 2 lines.

To give you the "Ernie", what cordless are we speaking of?

Panasonic kxtd7896?

If so, then you program the extension for all 3 CO's and program the cordless "soft keys" as CO keys. Or PBX Flexable Keys and use the joystick to select CO.

Yes, that is the cordless model.

So, you can keep the doorking in intercom mode and make it work with the cordless, you just have to program as you described so you can "answer" the doorking on co3.

How does the cordless ring if there are only 2 physical lines on the phone? Do one of those lines ring, or is it something else.

Thanks for the help.
