I bought a couple dozen vintage flashlights to make a DIY Chandelier. I need to gut them and add light sockets to them. Where is the best place to get parts like this? The stuff i found at home depot wont fit in the smaller flashlights. I assume there is some hobby/hardware place to get stuff like this or maybe LED kits for pools and stair cases? Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

Will the Chandelier be an ornament or is it expected to light the room?
Do you want to reuse the original optics? (probably not a good idea for room lighting because flashlight beam to a fairly sharp spot)
What voltage do you want to use?
You'll probably need to use original bulbs if you want to keep the optics. But, original bulbs will have poor life. Replacing the original bulbs with anything except LED's will run into unresolvable heating issues.
If you want to use the Chandelier for room lighting, you'll need to install diffusers.
An alternate plan might be to install a small halogen lamp in the center of the cluster. In this case the flashlights are ornamental and you don't need to worry about their actual light output.

I am curious about the "jigsaw puzzles" in your top image, behind the Chandelier. Are these skylights?

buzz came up with the right word for this project: cluster.
On the other hand, I once saw a fixture that was massively cool except for one thing. It had about forty incandescents, each in a socket at the end of a cord, the cords all coming from a hanging 6" round bulkhead. The bulbs took up much more width than the bulkhead. The cord lengths were such that the mass of bulbs took on an overall rounded shape. Very cool.
The only thing not cool about it was that, in order to keep heat under control and maintain bulb life, all the bulbs were 220V, so the dimmer could only bring them up to orange. Still cool looking, though.

Something like these holders and these lamps maybe? I had them bookmarked for a similar project that got back-burnered a while ago, so don't have any real-world advice.
