Please change your on hold message from repeating every 30 seconds to music or something less irritating than the same message over and over and over again. I understand nobody from RTI would call and sit on hold so you probably have no idea how infuriating it is.

Thanks

So,

Here I am, after 3 minutes or so, sitting back with the handset on speaker, kinda getting into the crappy music when the music gets interrupted by:

"Your call is important to us.".

Hey, if it was that damn important, you would answer the damn phone and not have me semi enjoy listening to a radio station that you haven't really dialed in....

The volume levels are way off as well, the crappy background music/RTI propaganda is very low compared to the infuriating "Your business is important to us" message. This forces me to turn the volume higher than I'd like to and causes the annoying message to be even more annoying.

Please fix this. It has been this way for too long.

Tell the tech about it when you're on the phone with him. Then call sales and tell them about it. Then tell them there's a thread in an international A/V forum where people are ragging on them for not having the sense to present a message to audio/video people that makes RTI sound at least semi-intelligent.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

"what kind of router do you have? No, that won't work. Can't use VLANS"

Not kidding.

Respond to that with "So, you're the new guy? Can I get someone else to help me?"

How is it this Drew guy still works there if it's a running joke on multiple boards about his poor service and everyone immediately gets the joke?

Silver award winner in 2014. Probably an exhaustive study by CE Pro in which they count by hand the amount of money each manufacturer is willing to pay them. Or maybe it truly is the 8500 votes they received.

Maybe everyone says their name is Drew, when they slack off and give bad info, kind of the way movie directors who no longer wanted their name associated with a movie, so they put Alan Smithee on the credits.

They are already working on a new on-hold message, it's rolling out in two weeks.

It should be the APEX of on-hold messages.

Not sure what's worse. The constant "your call is important to us" or the manufacturer that had Christmas music for hold music in July
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

That or he just gives out incorrect information about the current issue.
