AVDude - bite your tongue. Jeb in '08? God I hope not. As I previously typed - I'd rather have the evil I know as opposed to the evil I dont.

Arnold in 2008 ?

Arnold cannot run under our constitution since he is foreign born.

Another factor not looked at in here yet.

Jorh Edwards.... as vice president.

The sum of his qualifications? He is serving in his very first term as a senator and he hasn't even finished that first job yet.....he has never held an elective office before.... and he would be a heart beat away from being president of the USA???

. He has never served with a governor before.... much less a president.... so he has no administrative experience at all

He is a novice.. He is a "Trunk slammer" who hasn't learned where his keys are yet...... so his trunk is still locked.

He's probably a reasonably decent man.... but does that mean he is qualified by experience??? Does that apply to your job too?

He is a total novice. It's not just about Kerry.... you have to consider his choice as vice president as well.

What has Edwards done to gain fame? Sue Hospitals and doctors over natural birth defects.... run up health care insurance to pad his own RICH wallet... and smile really pretty for the cameras. That is his total contribution to the campaign.

And THAT qualifies him to be the president in waiting? I sure hope not.

He is part of the cause of high health care coverage... He is not a solution.... he is part of the cause of the higher costs.

He is also a part of the higher costs of your companies liability insurance.... thus he is taking money out of your pocket to put into his own bank account.

Want to talk about the countrys rich? You will have to talk about Kerry-Edwards... they have 10 times the money Bush-Cheny have.... in personal wealth.

John Edwards does not even have qualifications to run a state.... much less an entire nation. Every president this country has elected in recent memory has been a state governor first...... with good reason.... It's a similar job.... but on a smaller scale. Nothing in the congress is an equilivent....The on the job training comes from running states first.

Congressmen only concentrate on getting re-elected.

Elect Kerry - Edwards and you will have two men who have neve in their life held an executive position in government. Even Bill Clinton was a governor of a state FIRST. Small state... but at least he held it..... neither Kerry nor Edwards have done that....

Yet If Kerry is elected... Kerry will be a major target for terrorists to kill......... John (no experience at all) Edwards would be your president and commander in chief if that happens. What do you know about him?

Very little from the news media... They shy away from him....

He is a lawyer who spent his life running up the cost of liability insurance would be president..... Yes.. I can really see me wanting that.

IF you are a member of CEDIA... at the least you have to carry a millon dollar liability insurance policy. That is pretty expensive.

And lawyers like Edwards and Kerry are a large part of that cost.

If you want to fund the "Fat Cats"... go ahead... just call them by their correct name.... Democrats.

It is the Republican party that wants your cost of doing business to go down.

Warren: I agreed with you except in Edwards being a resonably decent man. How can he be decent after what he did to Chenney in the debate?(daughter). Thats without mentioning that Kerry did the same in the last debate with Bush.
I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.

Edwards is not a "basically decent man". All he has ever done is sue doctors and health care facilities to line his pockets. He is nothing but a successful ambulance chaser.

Well no kidding.

I am not endorsing Arnold here, I was making a joke, but,
In case you have not heard, they are seriously working on amending the Constitution so that potentials like Arnold could possibly run for President.

Thank God Bush won! We can now all look forward to four more years of lower taxes and a growing economy. Bush was the best choice for our clients and therefore the best choice for our industry.

Since we now have no choice? What does that mean? How many times would you like to vote? Do you think the extra 4 million people who voted for Bush are going to change their mind if we had another election? You shouldn't be talking about not having a choice. Every person in this country had a choice - that's why America is so great.

If what you really meant was, "Since we now don't have MY choice..." then you might be correct. But thank God our officials aren't selected by one or a few individuals...

Not meant to sound harsh, but I'm not sure how your comment makes sense.

The only thing that's indecent is that I can only *assume* that some of you folks think that being gay is so heinous that you took offense at Kerry and Edwards daring to mention that Cheney's daughter is gay (while defending the right to be gay), a well known fact. Why in the world should Cheney or anyone else have been upset about it, especially since it's common public knowledge? Would you have been equally outraged if they had defended marriage by mentioning his married daughters? Of course not, then it wouldn't be an issue.

His comment made perfect sense and didn't need to have a whole lot read into it. Those of us who don't like Bush have no choice but to put up with him, no different than those that didn't like Clinton had no choice but to put up with him. No need to go on a rant about what was a simple easy to decipher statement.

Braivhart: I have not paid much attention to this thread, and so don't know what side he is on, but honestly I did not see anything wrong in his post. I think what he said is true, before an election it is nice to discus who would be the best, after the election you don't have a choice any more and you hope for the best and that most people chose right.
