Or you could splice a 3.5mm stereo cable to a 3.5mm mono. Either way, verify your pin-out with a meter before connecting, so you don't send 5v into something.

Sadly7 not a big fan of doing this.
The M3B uses a 5V system however Xantech/clones are 12 V.
It may work for a while, but...........
Please use the included IR receiver and tape your emitter on to it.

I did a basic C4 driver for a small system. I just used the hex codes form the manual and everything worked.

Set it up as a cable box and, in programming, selected the channel number when a source was selected. Only connection I made was IR. It was a small system so that was quick and easy.

If I do more/larger systems, I was thinking about setting it up as a matrix with HDMI in's and out's so all you have to do is make HDMI connections with no additional programming.

Today we used one kit as a hdmi balun. Old apartment, no infrastructure, only a poor coax line. Same cable delivering local channels to one tv and HDMI to another from a receiver output. Rx set to a fixed channel, no IR, since its a one Tx system. Client and installer happy. We used our last set, definitely ordering some more
