i commented directly to performance, which would indicate sound. But to clarify, we have only used the LCR68. they sound very good IMO.
I love supporting product that supports me!

In my opinion they don't sound as good as many comparable products (Sonance, Monitor Audio, Kef, Polk)...but sound is objective.

Sound is "objective" -- do you mean SUBjective?

The issue I find with them is that they sound very tinny...but that is their choice in tweeter material/design; bass response is fine.

So, you are basing your opinion on one model (the outdoor speakers) you have installed?

FacePalm, Good Catch Bruce, Yes I meant subjective thanks Bruce :),

We built a basic sound board to do ABCD tests, the OA's we've run through the tests are the D64 D82 D86 D104, and 2 of the producer series. They ALL sounded tinny in comparison to the other brands...so too do the outdoor speakers but with the promo I was able to make twice as much profit and my clients don't care much...just want something decent and cheap for background music on their Decks/Patio's.

True. It is surprising how tolerant our clients can be about Lo Fi audio. Sometime we may over analyse the performance of some of these products.

Thanks for the head up on their sound. Should be getting ours Friday or next week. Gotta build-out the room first, but excited about the prospect of carrying (and installing them).

Some of their higher-end speakers look promising.

Takes guts to enter the architectural speaker business, but Jeremy knows what he's doing.

On another note, I was curious about Beale speakers at Cedia, but by 11am on Thursday their demo system was broken and the guy at the booth was pretty clueless.

Heard them at a local show in Seattle a few months ago. I liked them, and especially their little amplifiers and their in ceiling sub sounded pretty well...

That sux to have your demo system down at a show like that!

No worries, Yes, pretty soon (in theory) our showroom will be open. Theater room has been soft installed, and tested...but waiting on the screen still, and then final coat paint and cleaning...plus some furniture...but if you (or Anne) are on the eastside before we're officially open and have some time to meet up I can show you the space and we can grab lunch or a drink.

I understand the "soundboard" had an open back, so the speakers were firing into free-air.

I know this is an old thread but I'm looking trying some of their models. For those that have been using them, what models sound best for distributed audio, which for theater rooms (family room and a dedicated room), how about the outdoor sub/ sat systems??
PLEASE PM me if you want to give any info directly.
