Need help on older Vantage system. Working on a house remodel that has a Vantage Qlink system. Three loads went to a room that was remove, two of the loads were used for other areas, and one is no longer used.

The electricians and builder are asking for use to help them out. We are not a Vantage dealer, but do have a copy of the programming software. I pulled the project from the processor, and can change the programming on the keypads and the load names.

What I don't know how to do is to change the loads on the LCD320M touch screen. I have to remove one load, change the name of one load, and move one load to a different room (page on the touch panel) and rename. Is there a different software program to do this, or am I missing something?

You most likely just need a usb cable and connect to the port behind the faceplate.
You have to open up the project and click on the panel and it will open an edit window. You can select to program update from that window.
You want to "pull" the file from the backup flash for the most info.

The trouble you are going to have is that any special graphics, fonts , etc that were on the original programmer's computer is not going to be in the file you pull out of the processor. you may have many hours of recreating something or doing it over.

EDIT: I may be wrong on that panel. I looked at some of my old stuff and I don't have a LCD320m, so I am not sure on the USB port. The LCD160 was updated by station buss and brutally slow. Sometimes you had to disconnect most other stations to reduce the traffic on the buss. Pull the faceplate off and let me know if see a mini usb there.

I leave for CEDIA mid week, but I will check back here. Vantage has pulled all the old documents off their website and will get an earful of disgust from me at the show. I will be glad to help, but you got to know that panel is way past EOL and needs to go away. It was in the same time frame when PHAST was starting.
