Working on getting into security rather than giving it away. This could be a very extensive thread but looking for an over simplified answer please - what is the "typical" price to your customers for an 8 zone security panel with two keypads, two motions, six door contacts installed. and the panel has to be able to communicate with a control system. Sorry for being so vague and not expecting detailed answer, just ball park price installed. thanks in advance!

I believe we are around $3000 prewire and finish, although our basic package only includes 1 keypad, 2 motions and 4 doors.

Wow, on new a construction normal size home that is super high for what you are giving.

System Includes:
(1) 8 Zone Security System
(2) keypads - Garage entry & Master bedroom
(1) Pet Immune Motion sensor
Security contacts on all 1st level windows & doors

Less than what you are charging but then again we are doing at least 1 per day on a production level. (different beast)
We offer upgrades for smokes, keypads, key fobs, Exterior Siren, etc.
Complete labor for us may be quite different then what you are used to as well.
Total hours to wire and trim is about 3 when combined with all of the other rough and finish items.

Custom homes and commercial properties are a completely different story.

We do a ton of production and I have several different answers for you depending on your business model.

We do this with Concord 4 and the Interlogix automation module. Several other panels in this same price range.
