Every time I open a Cool Components box I wonder "why did I overpay for this stuff??!"

Their power supplies are just plain stupid. Put the right damn supply in the box and forego the POS adapter kit with all the different tips! You only need ONE tip, why send 8 or more? Cheap crap. Not the equipment its self, its not bad. But the power supply deal just makes them look like a chinese knock off company. Regardless, they are way overpriced for what you get.

So in other words, you like their stuff. You're just "venting"?

Get it?...Venting?... Cool Components venting fans?....I kill myself.

Sorry about that. Carry on.

I actually ordered one of their nice looking plate fans. The only reason I stick with the cab cool is that 60 seconds with a 3 1/4 or 3 1/2 inch hole saw, and it is ready to go in place – done! I have not found anything else so quick and easy to install. It looks like those plate fans require a saber saw or some sort of a square hole cutter!

I switched over to CC from ATM several years ago when ever single ATM relay control module in the field failed over a 2 year period (many of those failures were different in nature but one prevailing theme was making stupid clicking and beeping noises.

CC is easier to install, just as quiet, more easily scale-able (add more fans); they have several easy to plug in temp sensor options (that have no particular moving or relay parts to fail) and, despite Ranger's complaint about their power supplies, I have had few of those fail either.

As Tom indicated, hole saw 4 screws, rinse lather repeat. Easy. They are low profile and come in white or black.

And they have a lot of other venting products to choose from (Toe Kick; in line duct boosters, etc).
My only complaint is the difficulty in reversing the fan direction.
