The luxul stuff has been rock solid for me but I only sell there 2.4 ghz stuff I was having to many Mac related service calls because the clients kids Mac would grab the 5.ghz signal they would move to place were 2.4 was rock solid but 5.ghz was out of range and they had signal issues and I would have a service call. Since only selling 2.4 ghz stuff I have had not had one service call.

that would suck not to be able to do 5 ghz when most services these days are over 100gbps. I haven't seen any 2.4 ghz antenna reach that speed, even when it's supposed to?

I just put a Luxul ABR4400 router, AMS-1208P POE switch, and a XAP-1510 dual band WAP in my house. Love it. I use 5Ghz pretty much exclusively because there is so much going on in the 2.4 spectrum around me, it is virtually useless. With 5Ghz, I am the only network I can see in that spectrum. Using the Speedtest app, I have seen up to 170Mbps down/10 up.....my ISP just upgraded me to 200/10. I just need to run a wire and get it in a more ideal location.

I replaced a 7 year old Airport Extreme that finally kicked the bucket. If I can get 7 years out of this stuff, I will be happy. :)

The Luxul stuff does 5 GHZ just fine..

Also I get these speeds on a Planet WDAP-1750AC and the Luxul XAP-1510

Both on AC

PS when you buy Luxul or Planet from BlackWire you can get everything already programmed and the best tech support in the industry.. VLANs and all :) <3

I would like to try a Luxul system at home before I spring it on one of my customers. I see the XWS-2210 is on special from some of my distributors, would this be a good starter kit? Also if you have a wireless router, are you turning off the router radio when using the controller/AP?

Has anyone had problems with Luxul PEO injectors not operating properly? I installed my first kit with XWC-1000 and two XAP-1510. During initial set up, one of the access points had trouble showing up as an available device. It seemed intermittent so I left it disconnected until today. After factory restore, I was able to add the second access point and it seemed to be working for a while.

Before leaving the site I noticed I was getting no connection to Internet or network on the newly added AP although it's SSID was available to wifi devices. One of the blue lights was off. I cycled power and all blue lights turned on again but still no network connection. Tried different ethernet cables and nothing fixed it.

My only thought is that the POE injector is bad. Anyone ever experienced this?
