There haven't been elk in the eastern United States in at least 100 years. But leave it up to Brendon to find one with a car. Lol

I guess we'll ship one in from Canada just for the occasion.

Btw, before doing the parkway, I suggest you watch the British top gear episode |where they drove the parkway. Watching them cruise a Ferrari, Porsche and |Mercedes at 45 mph was painful. Then in the middle Jeremy says, "we knew the |whole thing couldn't be 45, and we were right... The speed limit dropped to 35mph"

Loved that episode, and hate that the show is gone.

But, knowing the low speed limit on the Blue Ridge, that's why I suggest getting on up near Floyd, Va. That way you're only tooling along with the tourists for an hour and a half.

Just remember that parkway is federal, so tickets mean federal court

Sorry away for the weekend.

Let's plan on Friday night! I'm down for wherever you locals know of there in Asheville.

I was suggesting West Jefferson since I know those hill fold don't like going into the big city.

Besides, Bessie the mule ain't much for long treks down the mountain.

Needs to be a bit closer than Asheville for me since I have to be back to take the boss to the airport.

I'm still going to be there, I don't have a hotel room because I didn't know if this was going to happen or not with everyone's schedule. I have no idea where we should meet, I assume one of the brewery/restaurants. I expect to be in Asheville around 4 or so!

I'm not going to make it, as I have to be back in GSO Friday evening.

Slightly more than a 2 1/2 hour, one way, for me. Plus we're supposed to have some pretty heavy storms.

Y'all have fun and be safe.
