Need help with HDBase T extender setup. Customer has DirecTV with Yamaha AVR and Samsung TV. Channel changing is slow with a ten second black screen and then the no signal screen appears from the TV and  audio and video finally display. Firmware is current on TV. Re terminated CAT5e and not using EZ-RJ45 connectors. Also tried Binary splitter to no avail. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.

Changing any channel? or changing channels showing different resolutions?

Tried the 1080i setting, no difference. Replaced TV with Samsung UN55JS700DF.
Much better, channel changing now about four seconds. Still get the no signal screen every now and then. Replaced the extender with a Zektor SoloCat, problem solved. Nothing against the Binary product, have several in the field. Thanks again for the responses.

On Comcrap cable boxes, the default is set to "pass-through". It always causes a delay so I reset the boxes to 1080i (which you have done with your DTV box.).

I think Directv also has a setting "native", but I don't remember for sure. FWIW, check this setting as it may be causing the delay ...

Just remember there was video issue with Yamaha RX-A850 and Wyrestorm Single Coax 75. I have to set Video as Processed on Yamaha. Otherwise, I won't get any analog channels at all.
