We have a client that is looking for a phone that he can bring with him to client meetings and set up a conference call with other sales people.

The hard part is that he wants one the is cellular based...  (yes, I know there may be service/connectivity related issues).

He is using a MiPOw Boomin' portable Bluetooth speaking with built-in microphone.  It works well, but he needs one on a bit larger scale.

Anybody have any thoughts on a similar device or one that we may not have considered?

Thanks in advance!

There are plenty of large conference sets that also have a minijack connection for using with a cell phone and a RJ-11 for telephone use.

Polycom has a bunch of different conference phone sets that you can connect to your cell phone.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Weird as I contacted Polycom with this same question a week ago and they said they didn't have anything like that....

When I contacted them again after reading your post they said they sure did!

I'll give this one a try.

The Logitech looks pretty good too as an option.  (did I just write "Logitech" looks good as an option????!!!)

Something like this....

I use it all the time for larger meetings and it has always performed well.

This may be an option as well:

Bluetooth connection to the cell phone so no need to carry around adapter cables.

I've had a Polycom SoundStation2W for a few years now. Highly recommended!

Well, except for the annoyance that it doesn't seem to work with visual call waiting.
