I have a couple of these that are in common areas available to the public 24/7. The property owner wants a method to lock them to the wall so they don't walk off. It is 6.46 in H x 10.12 in W and stands off the wall about 3/8 in.

I've searched every search word I could think of for a solution to no avail. Crestron doesn't have a solution afaik. The rep I spoke to acted put off I even asked.

Last resort is to cut in an access panel on the other side of the wall and secure it from behind, but the owner is less than pleased with that solution.

Any ideas?
No, it doesn't come preprogrammed.

How about this? -

Still not 100% secure but not easy to remove with fingers alone.

The TSW's as far as i can tell do not have a locking mechanism built in or available as an accessory. I think you have 2 options to secure it.

#1. One of the clear lock boxes like you see over thermostats at offices.

#2. Secure it from behind. I would use a locking access panel on the wall behind it.

They are nice, the tablet ones have 'locks' I think if we all bombard them with a request they could make the touch screen ones with a lock too.

This is pretty much what I need. They are in public areas but they want the public to use them.

I guess I'll just have to secure them to the back plate from behind.

Haha, we had to do this with two 550's In a public conference room, I will try to remember to post pictures of our method. It was pretty crude, but we ended up affixing the back plane of the touch panel to a structure in the below wall accessible behind wall plate interface for pc connections.
