I've got an install using the TS-1 that requires it to be in a back box. All wiring is in conduit to meet code. Niles told me that no one has ever asked for a back box before. Anyone run into this before? I would sure hate to be limited to only the keypads that fit into gang boxes.
Thanks, Roger.

Good point. Is Niles making these back boxes for you, now that you have pointed out to them the need for a back box?

No mention of a solution. They probably won't do anything until it becomes an issue for more of us.

I ran into a similar situation once, and the inspector was satisfied with the use of a vapor barrier box. jcmitch [Link: energyfederation.org]
