Now if you explain to him all of this up front, and he understands that he may get hosed, and he signs off on it, releasing himself from becoming a total douche to you when the time of hosing occurs, then go for it. Sell him something now that will work now, and then when he NEEDS 4K, he can cross that bridge when he gets to it.

That's where I was going. By that time, Brent may have a single coax 4K solution. Or, the guy may then decide to cut some holes and patch Sheetrock. Personally, I still have a hard time installing 4K panels given that there is still almost no 4k content.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

I also agree, where we will be in reference to 4K transmitting hardware is unknown.
My personal opinion; pull two Cat6 and two RG6 (CYA).
In the mean time do not loose sleep over something that you/me/we have no control over.

Ahhhhh yeah.....no 4k 2.2 on SDI....but for now your best bet unless JAP has 4k gear....and could be supported on an AP or MOCA

The CE Pro Summit is about 3 weeks from now. I'm thinking that's a great venue to reveal a game changing 4K distribution solution than works on a single CATx cable. Just sayin...... ;-)
