Anyone have experience with one of these? It looks to me like it's basically an NTSC modulator. We are being asked if we have worked with them before - an apartment community wants to use it to feed their gym equipment instead of dealing with the digital adapter boxes.

Also, if we're doing TVs throughout the clubhouse, I don't see why we couldn't just take RF feeds straight from this to those TVs as well. I'm assuming this will do HD channels, provided they have HD service, etc.

Yes it is a multi channel NTSC modulator, that has the ability to tune in 8QAM channels (with up to 36 individual channels in those QAM allocations). It has slots for 6 cable cards to allow the authorization of those channels.
I do not know if it can handle HDTV cable channels, that isn't defined anywhere that I found. But none the less, the output to all the TV's & video displays is NTSC (no HDTV).
