There seems to much mystory reguarding din-rails..Hopefully this helps!

Ive started doing din rails for all my projects. It is so much cleaner and easier to use and deploy then the traditional structured wiring parts and pieces. I love taking everything to the panels and then taking them out to the rack (keeps the rack cleaner) Not to mention you get a pretty epic patch panel! My inbox has been inundated with questions regarding what I use since I posted it in a thread a few weeks ago. Figured I would use this thread as a resource for everyone and update it as I learn with Din-Rails...

One thing is certain, I will NEVER go back to the traditional method.

I have also decided to use the panels as a branding opportunity and put a cool "twist" to the rather boring structured wiring covers. For these I have used LED tape lights to back light them!. I have Control4 controlling the lights, they go on 9am and stay on until 9PM! They have already landed me another job from just a few days of being deployed (from the HVAC guy seeing them) Before someone ask's they are the wirepathONE covers...

I have been separating out the Coax from my main panels to keep the cables guy out, and blatantly lighted their panel (figured they are attracted to shiny objects) I Lock the main panels and my racks.

Here are the DIN rail pieces:

DIN Keystone Adapters: FYI!!! They want you to buy the signamax keystones. ADIs offbrand keystones and Wirepath Keystones work perfectly. Leviton *WILL NOT WORK*

One thing I would recommend is to get the green/white pass throughs..Im OCD and dont like just the red/black. I would also put a spacer in so you can label them! [Link: automationdirect.com]

This panel isnt done, Im still cleaning it up and adding somethings! My favorite thing about this is the keystone adapters, they are brilliant!!

Where is Xzibit!? "Pimp my panel!"

I like the backlit logo though. Really. As do I like separating service provider equipment from the rest of it. They will likely appreciate that just as much as you do honestly. :)

I did too.

But only for the porn services, since I figure Brendon needs some help in that area.

Are the speaker modules that much more robust that you didn't use the phoenix blocks instead which would enhance troubleshooting and serviceability? (Looks like cost wasn't the deciding factor.)
