Purchased a house with russound a bus system. Currently have a ac68 with 4 keypads (outside, master bed, master bath and kitchen). Connected two inputs using rca from receiver and dvd/cd player.

The issue is at times, not all of the zones work. And it seems not all of the rj45 jacks work in the ac68 controller. And there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason. At one point all zones worked with using the top 4 jacks number 5-8, the next day only two jacks worked and the other zones were dead. Nothing changed on the system other than an on/off cycle. I even did a factory reset. All on (party mode) seems to work from the master bed. The master bed seems to always work (and so does the master bath) in any rj45 jack except jack 4 and seems to be some sort of "master". I can turn party mode on and off in that zone and all 4 zones work. If you plug for instance the kitchen zone into the same jack the master bedroom that was working the kitchen did not work. I can't seem to get all zones working independently from a source but work when party mode is on, so it seems like the speakers work and the keypads work. I just don't know the config to get them all to work independently. I thought the design was so any zone could be used. But I am having trouble with the kitchen and outside working all the time, it seems as like jack 8 works for them, but not the others.

Is there something that needs to be terminated or is their an order in which things need to be turned on or configured like using jacks 1-4 or turning on zone 1 before the rest or anything like that?

Thanks
