I'm looking for somebody with a good knowledge of a Marantz RC5200 to program one up at a friends house.

I bought one of these as a birthday present but have neither the time or inclination to program it up.

The house has two living rooms - one normal and one home theatre - the setup should reflect this. I dont have a list of equipment either except I know he has SKy+ & normal Sky. He has broadband at the house if required though.

I'm not looking for the worlds most advanced setup - just the (approx) 8 items setup and some basic macros as well.

I'm guessing a couple of hours work on site.

A fee would be negioted up front and paid in cash on delivery - I'm sure a plentifull supply of coffee or tea can be on hand as well.

The house is located in Lancashire - west of Preston and I'm after somebody in the next couple of weeks.

Any takers - or maybe pointers?

Regards

Mark......

Hi Mark,

I used to program 3 or 4 of these a week,

How long it will take will generally depend on whether the programmer has a well defined template for Sky and Sky+ as well as basic AV templates.

Personally I would try and get in contact with a local custom installer or someone who programs alot of remotes (ask for them to show you proof) - you may find they are slightly more expensive but the end result will be much better integrated and generally easier to use as refinements will be built up through their previous experience.

Try searching CEDIA for a local dealer

Good luck,

Chris.

Mark,

I sent you an email in regards to this thread. I am not local to England, but that hasn't stopped me from doing work there before!

Talk to you soon,
