On Scorpion last night they drove an Italia at 249 mph and speed matched a jumbo jet, dangled a network cable from the jet to a skirt with a lap top. She plugged it into the laptop, performed a software restore and saved the world.

Pretty awesome ride.

Pretty awesome ride.

And even though most of her was outside of the passenger compartment, the air pressure didn't push her backward.

I don't think they were really going that fast. I really don't. :D

Certainly not if it was a stock Italia. It's top speed is just slightly below 200mph if memory serves. Only stupidly expensive hyper cars get up above 220 in stock configuration.

I think if I won a big chunk of money like that, I wouldn't tell anyone, not even my wife. I'd stick it away, start some new ventures and just play it off as life going very well.

You and I would get along
how in the hell does ernie make money?

I think I would invest in custom rack ears for Denon equipment...............

Kidding Matt!

Everything about that show makes it a cartoon, keep it as that and it kinda sucks you in. If you analyze the snot out of the technical aspects of it you will miss out on the MEV (mindless entertainment value).

I haven't watched TV in well over a decade now, so it's all theoretical to me. The few minutes I might see at my parent's house now and again remind me why I stopped.

Looks like a fierce contender. Wonder if it will mop up like the original! Nevertheless, looks like one hell of a car!

I'm not a Ford guy, but I could see myself driving this one.

Shoot, that ain't like no ford I'd never seen.

It's pretty bad ass, I think any car in that category would make me happy. Choosing the best one would be like picking my favorite 40 year old scotch.

I'm kind of liking the new NSX. Also the i8, got to sit in one at a BMW driving event, getting in and out sucks and I'm an in shape average size guy, but when you are in it fits like a custom glove.

There's plenty of info out about this guy now. I've noticed that a lot of folks from Europe really seem desperate to downplay the GT. Super-cars have been one of the things that Europe could stand up and say that they dominate, and it must be uncomfortable to see some of the stuff that has been happening in the US lately. It does get mixed reviews because it really is a track car still, and of course folks can't get over the 6 cylinder engine.

Anyhoo, how about the new Apollo IE, which looks like it's going to be a seriously radical car:

For those wondering Matt got a 720s, his R8 is gone.
