Thanks man! Appreciate it!!!! No worries. Love the blacked out look, want to see what those rims would look like with a blue accent instead of the silver, could do vinyl or pastdip!

Not yet, ordered it! :-D

Go with vinyl or better yet just have them painted. Maybe its just what ive seen myself...but every time i see plastidip it looks "unstable". There are always finger prints, parts that look like the dirt has soaked in.

I have never seen vinyl covered wheels in person but any vinyl car ive seen looks good even after a couple of years...unless its cheap DIY ebay vinyl that just always looks like garbage. So vinyl might be perfect for them. Vinyl is pretty tough. Car makers have been using it for years on the space between two windows on sedans.

Painting is going to cost more because they will most likely want to pull the tire off but IMO you shouldn't be implementing work arounds on a bad ass brand new car like that anyway. And IMO all black is the way to go.

I was looking at BMWs for a few months at the end of last year but i decided against it for now. I needed a second car that i could drive the dogs around in so i bought a used hatchback. Then about a month ago i traded the base model Juke i had in for the 2015 SL. I regretted not getting AWD/Leather and navigation with the first one so we solved that problem. The Juke so far in my almost 40 years is the funnest car i have ever driven. It even beats out my 1993 Ford Festiva. I have a feeling that if i ever do get a BMW i might not ever want to get out of it :).

You may want to buy knee pads and keep them with cleaning supplies. You'll be cleaning those rims after every trip.

Been there, done that myself. But there again, mine weren't powder coated.

I've heard very good things about wheel waxes.

My 8 year old wheels are too beat up to benefit much from it, at this point.

I don't think the black rims look good with the blue car. Maybe it's just because it's a photo. But it looks like it takes away where as the silver or blue adds detail.

:) Back when i had more time to my self my hobby was detailing cars. I have a pretty professional setup with all the tools to make washing a car super easy. My first car was a 06 mini s with white rims, i had a wheel cleaning kit in the back, there was never a time those babies were not spotless. Now I have my rims coated with a permanent coating like Cquartz or Opticoat. My dads bimmer has light grey rims and with the Cquarts coating 90% of the breakdust is rejected. These rims will be no different!! :-D

My rims on my jeep and brothers jeep are plastidipped. When cleaned and prepped correctly you can get some pretty spectacular results. My rims are perfect plastidip finish. For cars being entirely plastidipped you best just bring it to a local shop!

this car hobby of mine is just a uphill expensive hobby :) Do your wallet a favor and dont get a BMW lol! no seriously man i hope one day you can get your Bimmer so you never have to get out of it. I had the pleasure of driving a juke type r a few months back, that little bugger is surprisingly quick handles very well!!

I am guessing that when he asked for quick and dirty, this was what he wanted all along.

As nice as the blue is on the car you'll have very little contrast with the face of the wheels matching the brakes and the car. I think you'll grow tired of it quickly. I would go black to match the grille and other bits or a nice gunmetal, think spectra grey on the new Z06. See link for blue car with blue wheels. I know different car, different color but it should help you see what your heading towards.
