I use the URC Genesis 900 and would like to know if there is a way to control an Amazon Fire box (or stick) using an adapter FLIRC USB dongle as a Bluetooth > IR converter? If so, how??
I do not see any Amazon or FLIRC commands in the URC universal database.
Would I need to learn to another remote, then learn to URC?

Do a search for C4 and fire tv.
You can control the fire tv with a USB to ir receiver.
Also fusion research has a two way ip driver for C4 so they might have something for u4c as well.
I don't use URC so I really don't know

We are fully integrating the Amazon Fire Stick with RTI and it works great. There are drivers also available for Control 4 and URC's Total Control Line.

The driver will work with the TRC-1080, TKP-7000 & Mobile devices.

Note: these drivers use TCP control.

Amazon fire is an android device so you should be able control it with media center/ xbox 360 codes, I have a flirc device coming next week and will be installing asap with mx-780 remotes- the mc/xbox thing is what came up when I researched the flirc product.

I don't understand how this will work. I looked at the database of codes for my mx-900 and did not see x-box or media center codes listed anywhere.
How will you, or did you, get the codes to your remote?
Not having the flirc I may be missing something available in their setup. Please enlighten me if you have the time.
Thanks,
Tom
