Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

Being a lazy good for nothing.

Eat, drink, sleep, hang out at the beach.

Well, that's what dad said I was, and I thought I ought to prove him wrong.

Yet here I am all these years later, finding out that dad was right.... LOL

Computer graphics and 3D animation. I tried it for a while, invested a ton of money. Found I didn't have the patience it takes so here I am.

I despise this f-tard industry but I'm locked in forever. If only I would have known better 20 years ago at circuit city, I would have started an alarm company.
how in the hell does ernie make money?

Yeah I was in art school... a pretty good illustrator and painter... took a job in a speaker factory to subsidize my schooling. Fell in love with speakers and speaker design, and the satisfaction people had with nice Hi Fi systems... dropped out of art school, after I experienced a demo of Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd) on a pair of Klipsch Cornerhorn speakers, and 40 + years later, here I am still peddling woofers and tweeters!

Hearing and feeling the heartbeat on the track "Money" got me totally hooked on the quest for building killer speakers!!!

I've recently started doing it....I went last fall and got my real estate license. I'm doing both now, but eventually I'll just do the real estate and only do the a/v stuff for myself, as a hobby again. The last several years have really worn on me and I've gotten burnt out dealing with these people.

You think these people are bad, check back in in a few years after dealing with the asshole customers in real estate and the crooks in the business that will cheat you any way possible to get a dollar. Just today I ran into a guy I worked with back about 14 years ago. Our conversation immediately went to how we were both so glad to not be in real estate any more.

I'll give you one very valuable piece of advice. Never let a client buy you lunch. Once they do, they feel like they've made up for all the time you've hauled them around day after day.
