We don't do much with CCP but we do get the odd job from time to time that requires it. Today is one of those days and the programming isn't efficient. What I mean is that when I go under "devices" and add the devices and select the codes it programs all the buttons for that device, great. When I want to change the pre-programmed button to be a different command I have to then look for the code set that I have already selected.

Is there a way for CCP to only show you what devices you have added to your system rather than having to navigate through the device list countless times to make the necessary changes?
You can't fix stupid

no. You have to spend the 12 1/2 seconds to reselect the driver you already selected.

I rarely have to go back into an IR driver though. most commands in the driver populate into the hardkeys or the Screen. (whether touch or button associated) so if a hard button doesnt carry over correctly, you can just copy it from the screen down to the button.

Use the IRDB Navigator. Drag whatever codes you want over to whatever button you want.

There you go.

99.99% of URC codes work for the given device(listed by model number).

It sure is faster than trying multiple device codesets from several "mega code lists" that only mention the brand.

Once you use it and have the desired results, you will realize how easy it is!
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Can complain all day, it's the best way to do it. I don't get when people complain how this is done. Sure ID remembers equipment, but their DB is not as full or accurate imho, and you have to drag codes over for everything. At least CCP auto populates the codes and you just have to plug in missing ones if needed.
