Need to hang a Sonos Playbar from an articulating mount. I'd rather not rig something if there's a pro product that's tried and proven. I've done it once before with a strong mount and the adapter brackets for a sound bar but it was just okay. Any suggestions?

TV will 65" Sony.

Flexson has a mount that works fine, and the Snap bracket now works with the Playbar (as of February or so), but does require that you have the Sonos bracket as well.

Looking at the reviews for the Snap mount, seems like people are UN happy with there redesign. And the Flexson bracket adds a ton of depth!

I forget the model number, but Peerless has a sound bar mount that is easy to use. We attached the Sonos Playbar mount to the Peerless mount.

I've done mostly Sanus XF228 plus VMA202 plus Sonos wall mount kit

It's still a science project as I carry around a small supply of 1/4-20 x 3/4" flat head screws/nuts and washers to mate the wall mount kit to the vma202. Have to play around with the brackets and I believe I reverse the L shaped bracket at the top of the speaker. Once that's done the whole thing slides up tight to the bottom of the set and is easy on/off if needed.

Sound bar mounting to articulating TVs has got to be one of the biggest PIA.

You do NOT need the Sonos mount at all.

How are you attaching these to the keyholes on the Playbar?

The Sanus comes with a "keyhole bolt/hand knob" fastener.

You adjust the Sanus arms to line up with the keyhole's in the playbar, hang on the included fastener, and tighten the hand knob securing the playbar to the arms.

I have given those to our techs to install, but never even opened one up myself, thanks!

We have already used these on a few installs, and while they are much better, it would be great if there was a solution that allowed us to not use the Playbar mount as well.

I finally tried the Sanus mount myself, and while the thing feels pretty flimsy, it does have the keyhole adapters mentioned about, which means we will throw them on the truck for "emergencies", though I don't think I will order them for regularly scheduled jobs.

Hey Keith, we can definitely take a look at that. Another goal of the redesign was to create more front-to-back adjustment so it can integrate with our Thin Episode soundbars. Contact me if you all have any more mount questions.

I ordered a set of the sanus arms back around the holiday to try out. Sony XBR55 and a play bar. Put the TV face down with the bar face down under it (so the front plane would line up). Tried every combo I could to get something to line up and ended up throwing it over my shoulder and ordered a VMA202. This was with an XF228 wall arm so maybe it works better with a flat mount???

That is seriously awesome!

that brings the price to ~1200 for a sonos soundbar solution. At that point im having a hard time just not specking a regular passive sounbar solution. Arguably though the playbar sounds better then any soundbar less then 1500 IMO.

I can think of two jobs that I can take this option too though. Which means I need to get signed back up with LEON.

Nicely done guys!
