Third party control of VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems???

Has anyone had experience integrating a VRF system before? This is what Mitsubishi heat pumps are based upon.

Crestron has TSTAT but they are not compatible with VRF systems. I was hoping to find some sort of a bridge that would allow translation between a VRF system and a standard TSTAT.
