Ok, I'm sure you guys have seen this, but I hadn't. It looks pretty cool for installations where there is no attic or crawlspace. Pretty expensive, but not crazy expensive. [Link: decorp.com]I just thought I'd post it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Mark

They were at CEDIA. It looks pretty cool.

I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.

I saw this at CEDIA a few years ago. To me if your going to "tape" this in why not cut sheetrock and install the wiring you prefer. Just my 2 cents

Both Liberty Wire & Cable and Monster Cable (our favorite, (smell the sarcasm)) make a flat 16/2 speaker cable, and I just found a flat Cat5E from Hitachi the other day, but have not used it yet, I have used the Liberty 16/2 and it works well, just install it between the pad and the carpet. I did find that it is best used with high pile carpets, otherwise it may show a little in a higher traffic area over time.

Hi everyone My name is Ken and I'm the US distributor for Decorp Flatwire. Instead of speculating ask me and get it from the horses mouth.

Virtually the full line of flat wire will be available around the mid to end of November. Sample boards are being finalized as we chat and should be available soon. We hope to have a Flatwire certified training at CES this year. Please let me know where you live and who you normally purchase through. We will be setting up distribution accounts over the next couple months.
