Got a lower budget request to install a large TV in a church hall that would display video of service in the adjacent room. To hardwire this would be a nightmare so I want to consider wireless.
I was thinking a decent consumer grade IP camera such as Dropcam and maybe a laptop to connected to the TV. In between would be a wireless router with no internet service. No recording is necessary and they are going to use it twice a year - easter and christmas. There is already a soundsystem that picks up sound from the church. Is this going to work or can someone recommend another solution? I can get line of site less than 75 ft between camera, router and TV.
Would be nice to get HD. Maybe there's a smart TV with a browser to display camera image?

I say a decent camcorder or security camera with HDMI output and Peerless HDMI TX RX set. If you can find an existing coax from room to room, then a camera with SDI output and a Blackmagic HDMI converter at the TV.

what would the resolution and cost be of a security camera with an HDMI out? I wasn't sure that existed.
