I'm looking for a DirecTV installer who can take care of a DirecTV installation in Henderson NV this week.

This is a restaurant with an existing dish which might need to be changed out, with needed parts already on site for use if needed. There's an existing cable from the dish, but it needs to be changed out to 5-wire cabling. (This doesn't completely make sense to me but this is for a buddy installer who doesn't post here.)

While it's a commercial install, a residential installer who understands how to install a SWM8 could do it. Other details of the install, such as hanging the TVs, have been taken care of.

Please PM me or email me about this.

Thanks.

Ernie

How many receivers will you be using? If 8 or less tuners (DVR's count as two) then you can use the single wire swm LNB on the Dish. If 9 or more tuners than you have to run 4 coax with a SL5 OR SL3 LNB to a SWM 16. If more than 16 tuners please tell how many as this changes this a bit.

Regarding my request, and pardon what will probably be perceived as an attitude on my part, but...

How does more than 16 tuners change whether you are, or know someone, in the Las Vegas/Henderson area who could do this install? Is it that you know someone who can do a SWM8 or maybe a 16 but nothing more complicated? And does it not shed some light on this that I'm saying I need someone who understands how to install a SWM8? Is that not a good enough hint that we're not doing more than 8 tuners? Are you just talking about the design but don't have any info that can help us?

I was asked by a friend to consult all of you. He tells me the design requires four cables from the dish. For some reason that I cannot comment on because I don't know it, he spoke of five wires. Comments telling me that I might need four wires are spot on, except I already said we want that many...

So, do you know someone in the Vegas area who can help?

Thanks. I just heard after relaying that phone number that it's been covered.

Lack of communication. Grrrrr.
