ERL is pretty damn tiny, and will run circles around that pretty case.

ERLite-3 is far better throughput but twice the size before PSU. I guess we also need to know why size was a primary requirement.

You knew this was coming, my router is a Porter Cable and it does not have Wi-Fi or Bluetoof either for that matter.

Its small and works perfect.

Thanks for the quick replies, fellers!

I'm spec'ing 2x Ubiquiti AP-Pro WAPS in this setup and the router needs to be small because it needs to fit in one half width of a standard 14" x 36" structured wiring can.

Would the Unifi Security Gateway or the EdgeRouter Lite 3-port be the better option here...? Permormance-wise, the user is primarily concerned with streaming video from TWC data service and locally streamed music from a Vortexbox via SONOS clients.

The Cisco RV180 has been solid, in my own home. Good size for an enclosure.

Find any good router, and turn off the wifi radio.

The Mikrotik 750G is probably the smallest has more than enough power to do what you are needing to do. The set up has a steeper learning curve.

The MicroTik looks good...And it affords Mac address resevation, works with SONOS, etc.?

What's a good source for MicroTik--I've honestly never heard of them.

Yes, reservations are extremely simple to do. Like it has been said, there's a bit of a learning curve to them, but if you put in a bit of time I don't think you'd ever go back to anything else. I've been using them exclusively for about a year and a half, and have VPN remote access to every system I do for updating control and security systems, and vlans set up for isolated guest networks. I've used the RB750GL, and also 10 and 24 port versions.

http://www.balticnetworks.com/ is where I usually get them.

The Mikrotik can also be powered via POE.
