As a matter of fact I'm a huge Russell Wilson fan and proud of it!

Nothing wrong with that but to say that he is statistically on the same plane as the other 6 QB's that got the invite this year is a little out there. That's that non-logical emotional lib side coming out! ;)

Let me guess... you think the patriots are the only team that cheats. Hears a hint, its not a sport. Its a multi-billion dollar industry made up of people that have worked and trained to win no matter what it takes. But keep thinking its just Wally and the Beaver down on the vacant lot learning good sportsmanship

Dude, do you watch football? How many quarterbacks out there have made it to two superbowls in their first 3 f**king years?

He is 10 and 0 against every Super Bowl quarterback he's played against.

Russell Wilson in his first 3 years has won more games than any quarterback in NFL history.
In their first 3 years:
Brady 34 wins 12 losses. 69 TD's 38 Interceptions.
Wilson 36 wins 12 losses. 72TD's 26 Interceptions (And we beat the Patriots!)
Wilson is the 16th rusher in all of the NFL in rushing yards!
Wilson's rating .857
Brady's rating .714
Wilson's career passer rating - 98.6
Wilson's salary $565,00.00!!! (not a misprint)
Bradys salary $7,000,000.00!!!

So you were saying??? Check your facts bro. Now go back and rewatch some highlights of Russell Wilson on Youtube.

No I'm not saying they are the only ones that cheat... It goes on in ALL sports with many - many teams.

Just saying the Patriots got spanked and fined a few years ago over cheating. Its just that when someone breaks the rules - they should pay the price.

However I could relate to the Wally and Beaver analogy. (Brady - Eddy Haskall) got busted and doesn't have the balls to fess-up. There was even talk about them not going to the super bowl if they did violate the inflation spec. ---so this will drag out until the S-Bowl game is over.

Hears a hint? Do I hears a hint? ; )

Well if you recall Bellichcik was fined $500,000.00 in 2000 for cheating, and the team was fined $250,000. Just sayin'.

I think Wilsons a great QB.

You can't compare Brady's post rookie contract to Wilsons rookie contract. As a sixth rounder Brady was making < $300,000 a year on his rookie contract.

The problem Wilson is going to run in to is longevity. His scrambling and extending passing plays via scrambling is going to get him hurt. Generally rushing output declines as QB's age and eventually they have to transition into a pocket quarterback (Steve Young being a notable exception).

At 5'11" Wilson has trouble seeing from the pocket. Bevell does a decent job with blocking schemes and passing routes to create throwing lanes at the line of scrimmage or Wilson scrambles around to find visibility downfield.

Wilson is currently better inside the pocket than outside the pocket but it's the threat of him outside the pocket that keeps linebackers and safeties at bay. If he loses his very credible scrambling threat, IMHO his output will decline dramatically.

Hopefully he wont get hurt. He was better at avoiding hits before the playoffs, but he seems like a sturdy little bastard. It is pretty fun to see him scramble, and he prefers to make plays outside of the pocket.

So fine them again so the sheep like yourself continues to think the NFL cares about rules, and then move on so people shut up about it.

Oh wait, all this talk is free publicity and getting even more people to watch the game that normally wouldnt. Whats $750,000 in scope of TV revenues?

He's getting hit alot and he's getting sacked at a higher rate then his first year in the league. 40+ sacks is noooot good for his long term health. Couple that with the hits he takes that don't result in sacks and what he is taking outside of the pocket past the line of scrimmage and I cringe often.

I'm not a Seattle fan. I hate you guys. Still don't want to see the little bugger get hurt.

Drew Stanton (sacked 11 times) and Carson Palmer (sacked 9 times) and both ended the season on IR. The Cardinals made it pretty obvious what can happen to a great team when they end up down the depth chart at QB position.

Got to keep your QB upright and even then it doesn't mean you won't still end up with a San Diego practice squad scrub finishing your season out behind center.

Ok seasons over. We only have a few months to debate the upcoming NFL draft and talk about team needs and the available college players to fill them.

Will all 3 Ohio state quarterbacks declare elgible for the draft?
