I have a client (My Dad) who's trying to get 2 DirecTV remotes to work in RF. I've never done this with the new style remotes so not sure how to walk him through this over the phone. His wife can't seem to hold mute and select at the same time so he can't seem to get them both in RF mode. Has anyone ever done this before? Thanks!!!
Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".

I'll be curious too. We were on a job that we were able to get two rf working (older rf remotes with Genie client). If your dad has the older style, when you get to the step that asks to input the rf code on the tv, do it to both remotes. This is how we got our older remotes to work.
I tried to add new smaller style rf remotes and couldn't get to work. They don't seem to program like the older ones by inputting rf code manually. They somehow get the rf code from the Genie, I think?

Ya same way I've done it. It's hard to explain to him over the phone but my thought was...
Get one remote to the page where you enter the codes, then have his wife enter the code at the same time as him. Problem was her remote was flashing red while his was flashing green?? Granted I'm not the one doing it so not sure exactly what's going on over there.

Under remote control settings, select the "copy remote" function.

Had him do that and it kind of worked BUT he has a Toshiba TV in his kitchen & Vizio in the bedroom. He can't change the TV settings with reprogramming RF setup?

I would think at that point he could just program the TV settings.

When he went to program TV it took him to the IR/RF setup page. Really bizzare.
