Thanks all!

I wasn't going to post what I need a CNC shop for because of the last time I posted about Festool it went south.

Its for this http://www.multifunctionslab.com/

Festool has what is called MFT table which has precision holes drilled for cutting stock, I just cant justify the cost of one because i dont need the aluminum edges and accessories due to many aftermarket accessories that function with the holes.

This guy has a brilliant design that covers everything the MFT does and its much more portable and easier to carry around the house.

Here is what Festools Table does:

Ad choice right on this very page just so happens to advertise the router table you need to buy. You don’t even need to use google.

Over by me the local colleges have a "fab Lab" where you can join for a small fee and use the CNC, 3D printers, lasers cutters, etc. See if you have something like that nearby.
Also look for a local robotics group. Many build parts to support their group and have all metal and some woodworking equipment.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Not far from me there's a hardware store that's not much more than basic, but 60% of the building's square footage is a sheet metal shop that can fabricate A LOT of stuff. Those guys would know where to get CNC work done, if they can't do it themselves.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Yep. It's too bad that the algorithms at AdChoice don't know that!

Brendon,

Unfortunately I blame you for getting me on the Festool bandwagon 😀

I bought the MFT table reconditioned when it popped up on Festool Recon. I ha e also seen online templates to make your own MFT style table with the proper hole patterns.

For example :

[Link: toolnut.com]

You are the Festool master so figure you have a router.

In addition to the above go to:

https://www.thomasnet.com

and search for CNC cutting services. Then at the top search within 10 or 25 miles of your location. You will have to create a free account to do the location search.

Hah! Sorry not sorry!! :P

I know, all these companies have popped up after I had my table machined. although after having it for a year and a design change to my shop it may get made smaller. Peter Parfits system is the best and most accurate. The MFT table is fantastic isnt!?

If I knew cad and could design things on the computer I think I would spring for the shaper origin!
