Hi guys. I am looking for suggestions for a couple of standalone IR Keypads to control Zone 2 and Zone 3 of a Denon AVR 3805 to do satisfy a cheap customer. I need to be able to get it through distribution. I've ruled out Niles Intellicontroller because I don't want to purchase their programmer(and I don't like them anyway). I would welcome a source for the keypads as well. Please email that info as the IP website is still down. Thanks in advance.

What about the Niles Intellipads? They are a fairly cheap fix at around $300. The Speakercraft EZC10 and its KP's are a great product as well, but I don't know if you have access to their line.

Intellipads would be my choice.

Shoe, Try taking a look the Russound UNO-IR2. It is a stand alone keypad. just needs 12vdc and it has a IR emitter output. It also features a built-in mute relay if you have the room speaker wires behind the keypad location.

I would second the Russound UNO keypad. It is decent, reliable, easy to program and install.
It is bettered by the B&K keypad, but the keypad is only available if you are an authorized B&K dealer (which is how it should be). The B&K is based on the MX700 architecture (and programmed with the MX700 Editor software).
The Russound is of course availabe pretty much everywhere (I think I saw that 7-11 would soon start carrying Russound ;-)
