At CEDIA I was told that Crestron and Denon are working on the new module together. Hope it goes well and quick for them.

Hi Guys,

Please let me know what needs to be improved with SXM integration on HEOS/RTI. I will make sure the RTI team is aware of the change requests. On top of that, RTI runs a pretty good dealer support forum - you can make feature and change requests directly to them in the HEOS driver thread there.

Thanks,

Does anyone have any input on URC ?

I looked at the forums and didn't see anything to get me excited.

I was told the URC module is ready, except for I Heart Radio. Dunno if they'll release it as is...

We haven't engaged them directly as of yet, but HEOS has an open and available API if they want to implement it.

Crestron......

They truly are working on it. I hear that there may be an updated beta floating around the Createon Labs forums. My understanding is it won't be much longer - no specific date to share unfortunately.

Thanks,

Do you mean the OmniTouch or Bitwise platform? I think support for OT may be going away and everything will be directed towards Bitwise, but don't quote me on that.

Omnitouch - I'd be surprised if they gave up on it anytime soon. Bitwise is great, but is more just an automation control. OT has a pretty well established list of supported partner systems. I'd love to see Bitwise be the front end UI for OT though.

SXM is fine, albeit slow. Local music through DLNA is also painfully slow via RTI.

Hi Paul.

Are there official docs from Denon for the open API? I haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks :)

It's in the CI portal attached to the HEOS Amp documentation.
