Has anyone had experience with products from Avrak? They have a model called Avtrak that looks like it might be pretty good for one of our installs. They sell it online, but I remember a rep pitching the line a few years ago. Of course I've forgotten which rep(damn that memory loss).Does anyone use the stuff? And are you direct ?
Middle Atlantic has shown a nicer looking product, but is not shipping yet

Any other pull out racks that self support?

Thanks

I've used a few Avracks. Don't make the mistake of filling them full of gear, like I have. (This is often the reason to go to something like this in the first place; not enough room in the cabinet for shelves.) If you do fill it up with components, then the wiring that interconnects each piece needs to go up & down the back of the rack. Further, the loom that connects the rack with the house gets to be big enough where it will act like a spring, pushing the rack back out after you've pushed it in. At the very least, design a minimum of 3" of extra depth behind the rack beyond Avrack's spec, to fit a larger loom.

Overall, the build quality is fine and the shelves are easily adjustable, even with a component in place.

Don't forget heat management, too.

Thanks for the advice. I've had the wire spring problem in the past with shelves on rollers too. This time I think we will be OK because we will have just about 3" and I'll try to keep the bundles loose.
