Ok so I have had a genuine issue with a Marantz product but I think I may been in one now. I deployed a SR5009 that works fine until the gamin input is used for Xbox One. It freezes up and nothing unlocks it except pulling the power cord.

Please tell me there is an easy fix. I have not done the microprocessor reset yet.

Unplug the XBox and see if it does this again.

Does the SR5009 ever pass video from the XBOX? If not, make sure the HDMI is not plugged in the XBOX's video input...

Yes it is passing video as the Marantz is acting as the switch.

I had to exchange a 5009 about a month ago because it was locking up. First problem out of the box ever for me with Marantz. Exchanged it and no problems since.

It was locking up on any input. Only fix was to power cycle. Would do it about once a day.

Will it switch away from that input with the X-Box powered off?

Wondering if the Xbox is spitting out some kind of HDMI-CEC data that is keeping the AVR on that input.

Can you reproduce the issue if the XBOX is plugged into a different HDMI input/source location? Or what about a different HDMI input and then assign that one to GAME?

Just my 2 cents.

Freddy did the just do an RMA? I have literally never had to do anything with them. I have the client testing all of the other theories.
