Hello all, I need a bit of help. My wife and I are expecting our first baby in April, and I would like to set up a survaillance camera in the baby room. I am not looking to break the bank, but I would like a decent fixed position color camera with microphone that I can output directly to my tv downstairs.
All suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Cameras with microphones will be a little hard to find, due to laws regarding video survellience (sp?) and the arcane laws regarding recording voices without an individuals knowledge. This can be gotten around, however.
We use Silent Witness cameras with an integral IR illuminator so that Junior or Missy can sleep in a dark room while being clearly visible on the camera. Typically the camera's output is fed to a modulator to distribute a "Baby Cam" channel to the whole house.

I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.
