Hi,
I am running into something very weird. I have Russound SMS3 up and running. I can access and bring up interface on my computer screen without any issues. I can navigate through the menus as well. Here is the problem.

When I select 'Options & Status' and click on 'Configure', I do get a small windows asking for password as expected. My issue is that when I try to enter it I cannot see anything in that box, it is like it cannot recognize my keystrokes or something. when I press enter, it goes back to normal screen.

I can understand if it says 'invalid password' but puzzled at not even taking my input.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Krishna

The problem is the SMS3 was made so long ago that the built in web server isn't fully compatible with any of the modern browsers. I have tried every browser available and still have web page errors when logged into a customers SMS3.

Thanks CreativeHT,

I know for sure that I was able to do this couple of years back and had no issues. I may need to go back to IE6 or something to see if that works but really a very weird problem. I will wait on some more suggestions. At this point, I am open to completely reset SMS3 and erase all the music but I guess to do that I need to access the configure screen.

It is what he said about the browser not being compatible. Happens on some old websites too.
