Any ideas? DirecTV through Denon receiver to Epson wireless transmitter. Everything works great, except for HBO and Cinemax channels. The picture immediately drops off and doesn't come back until you go to a non-movie channel.

DirecTV straight to the transmitter box without the receiver produces the same result. Direct from DirecTV to Projector works fine, as expected.

I assume it's the HDCP messing with it on those channels, but this is our first time doing one, first time I just couldn't get a HDMI to correct spot. I changed the HDMI over to component for the time being and it works fine, but noticeably degraded picture.

I would assume this had come up before but google couldn't tell me anything about it.

Yup, HDCP issues for HBO on DTV, No idea the fix though!

Try a 1x2 HDMI splitter between the receiver & Epson.
Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".

I would check the specs on that epson transmitter/receiver combo. If there's no HDCP support, you're not going to get HBO, etc.

All I read was "wireless HDMI doesn't work." Then I wondered why there was a post about it because um, yeah duh, wireless HDMI is guaranteed service call. You average home can barely get wireless internet (which has been around much longer than wi-HDMI) with the ISP router. Your average apartment, at least in the crowded markets I am in, can barely wander 20 feet away from the wireless router without skips on a prebuffered streaming media. Wireless HDMI? Spitting into the wind.

The Epson wireless works very well - except for satellite movie channels i guess.. We've also used the peerless model with great success for several years. We just put in the wireless hdmi from Intelix today and it worked amazingly well. Wireless HDMI has it's place. In Colorado home construction with finished basements and second floors, it's been invaluable to us.
