I'm working on an older RTI RP1 IR based system - customer added somfy shades and wants control. I'll use a URTSI II which I've always connected and controlled with 232 but I only have IR connection on this job. The manual shows IR input connection with pinout.
[Link: avoutlet.com]Can I connect 2 conductor from connecting block to "IR" and "common" or do I need to provide 5v also? Or do I need to use their IR receiver and stick an emitter to it?
Is "Somfy/Drapery Controller/24 Channel IR" the proper RTI code set? Thanks.
