Client wants a "hidden" camera that can connect to a Laptop. I can get electrical to it but not cat5.

Rather than have to remove a sd card to see video he wants built in wireless to connect it directly to the network for laptop viewing.

If it has built-in wireless, you don't need Cat5e.

If the camera supports a WIRELESS connection (WiFi) you do not have to connect it by a cable (of whatever category) to the network.

Many cameras fit this category and only need a power connection.

What about a simple baby monitor with App? He can unplug it and plug it anywhere there's a plug.

You want a discrete camera. As far as I know, most cameras are discrete, that is, they are single cameras. There are some multiple cameras but I don't know that those have ever been discussed here at remotecentral.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
