Hello, I have 2 Sony DVD players, a DVP-S560D (single disc) and a Sony DVPCX985V 400 disc changer that I just bought to integrate into my home theater. I am now kicking myself because I didn't even think about whether or not the IR codes are different. Has anybody tried this or a similar combo? I am afraid I messed up here...
Thanks...

either use a remote with assignable ir outs, or use any universal remote w/ macro's and a xantech ir router

Check The 400 DVD changer for a different code set switch. I'm pretty sure that it can be set to code set two either by a hard switch in the back or in the menu.

The 400disc changers h ave Multiple COde sets. You'll be fine.
Any particular reason for the 2 though???? You wont see much difference in picture quality from those 2 units.....
You probobly should of just gotten a 777ES and called it a day. That things looks awesome for a changer... I'd put it up against anyones $500-$1000 Single play units.

Thanks for the help, I have downloaded all the codes I can find for my Pronto 1000, I'll look into the different code sets.
My reasoning (or lack of) for the two players is that I've had the Sony single tray player for quite a while, and wanted to add the 400 disc changer to catalog my DVD collection and maybe keep the kids' fingers off of them, but I didn't want to lose my single tray option when I rent movies.
Thanks again for all your help and suggestions!
