Has anyone had any trouble learning/repeating Anthem IR codes on a Niles ZR-4630? When programming the Niles from the Anthem remote, the right LEDs blink, but when I try to test the IR output it doesn't work (meaning nothing happens on the Anthem). I know it's not the flasher, since I can learn and control other equipment just fine.

Are you using the "all" flasher output on the back of the ZR-4630. Which flasher are you using?

The light under which your programming takes place can affect the IR information of some remotes.

For instance, when programming with the Pace cable box remote, I must turn off all overhead lights, even can lights and fan lights, in order for any IR programming to be successful. This is the case even when I program other remote controls to accept this Pace cable box remote. Sony remotes do not have this issue, as well as many other remotes.

The key is to program and test everything in your lab before you deliver and install it in your clients home.

Thanks for your interest. I'm using the "all" flasher output, and as I stated in my original post, the flasher works just fine to control other equipment. I attempted the programming in daylight, with the lights off. I've sent a couple of Anthem codes to Niles, and the say that the 4630 is changing frequencies, on/off times, etc. They want me to send them an Anthem unit so they can play around with it. I'm trying to line something up, but was hoping someone out there had some easier ideas.

Try moving the Anthem remote closer or farther away from the eye during programming.

I've done all that. Even changed the angle, duration of button press, etc. Nada.
